From 2006 to 2008, all of the assets and business in Moscow (Russian Federation) were sold. Now Mikhail Dvornikov is a private investor and owner of several companies in Austria and Switzerland, Mikhail Dvornikov is also actively involved in charitable, social and scientific activities.

Mikhail Dvornikov is married and has two daughters. The eldest daughter specializes in international relations and diplomacy, the youngest daughter is a high school student.
